Postpartum Doula

The adjustment to having a new member can be challenging for many families.
An experienced postpartum doula can provide you with support, an extra pair of hands, and basic breastfeeding and baby care tips.
I might help with cleaning and grocery shopping, play with your older children, or hold the baby while you take that longed-for shower or nap:
whatever would be most helpful to you.
While any family benefits from having a postpartum doula, some situations especially call for doula support,
such as single parents, newborn twins or following a difficult birth, including a Cesarean.
Having enough support and "me time" is also key in preventing or managing postpartum depression.
