Preconception through the Postpartum

Welcome to Growing Season!

I feel deeply honored to offer evidence-based, trauma-informed, queer & trans-competent reproductive care, in the comfort of your own home. From time-honored services to innovative packages, there's something for everyone.

COVID-19 Update, Aug 2021:
Birth and Bodywork in the time of COVID?

I am tentatively opening my schedule for a reduced number of bodywork clients. I myself am vaccinated, but I have children and attend births, so I'm limiting myself to clients who are also vaccinated and otherwise value covid-cautiousness. I'll also be masking during appointments and asking clients to do the same. Let's work together to protect our community.

For doula clients, my general exposure risk is kept as low as possible to protect your families. For now, I am offering my prenatal visits in person, either masked or outside, though if it seems indicated, I'll revert to online meetings except for the birth. I'm also open to prenatal and postpartum support for folks who cannot or choose not to have a doula at their birth.

I will not be offering foot massages for baby showers at this time. I have resumed placenta encapsulation, but now I do no-contact or minimal-contact pick up and drop off. Fertility consulting sessions have switched to 100% telehealth, obviously without the fertility bodywork component, but I'll include self and/or partner massage tips for you.

My online scheduler will remain closed for now. All prospective clients should contact me directly for scheduling. Thank you.

In Your Natural Habitat

Why In-Home Care is My Standard of Care

Often one of the first questions I'm asked is where I'm located; most of us are used to seeing our practitioners in their offices! And for clients who feel more comfortable with a clinic space, I do rent one as needed. But there are so many benefits to in-home sessions that I consider it an integral piece of my care approach.

Holding sessions in your home saves you the time and energy of traveling. Postpartum clients especially say that house calls are the only way they can access self care—we can be flexible with time and work around kids’ needs. You don’t need a sitter; you don’t need to drive across town; hell, you don’t even need to change out of your pajamas.

My favorite part of home care is how seamlessly it integrates into the rest of your life. Your prenatal vitamins or the book your parents sent can be referenced easily. We can practice different ways to sit in your favorite chair to reduce pain. I can offer impromptu assistance with baby’s latch. When we create the perfect sidelying pregnancy massage position using every one of your pillows, you can then replicate that, and sleep better at night (partners are clinically proven to not need pillows). Since we’re on your turf, you’re more likely to remember questions you’d had.

We’re more likely to drink tea together, to get silly, or get real about your big feelings. Plus, I might get some kitty cuddles or poochie smoochies...

Word on the Street:
Recent Client Review

"Jasper is an extraordinary massage therapist. They are patient, intuitive and truly a gifted healer! I began getting regular massage from Jasper in the last months of my 2nd pregnancy. Their continued care has made all of the difference in what has been a MUCH better postpartum recovery than my first time around. If you like the type of massage that is about getting to the bottom of long-term, chronic issues, then Jasper is therapist for you."
